Nova Participações S.A. is the holding company that controls Nova Engevix Engenharia e Projetos S.A., Nova Engevix Construções e Montagens S.A., and the power generation assets of São Roque Hydroelectric Plant 141.9 MW (under construction) and Decasa Thermoelectric Plant 33 MW.
Nova Engevix is the result of a complete restructuring of the Nova Participações Group. This process innovated the operational structure, including the corporate structure, as well as internal procedures and standards, adopting mainly an Integrity program incorporated into its Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)..
Nova Engevix Engenharia e Projetos S.A. has more than 50 years of experience and specializes in providing Consulting Engineering services in its various specialties, operating in the sectors of urban infrastructure, multimodal transportation (highways, railways, subways, ports and airports), buildings, sanitation, power (hydraulic, wind, thermal and solar) and industries, in the areas of studies, projects, management, supervision and integration, with permanent offices in Florianópolis and São Paulo.
Nova Engevix Engenharia e Projetos S.A. has direct participation in the main enterprises in Brazil, contributing significantly to the history of national consulting engineering.
Nova Engevix Construções e Montagens S.A. was created in April 2013 to take over the integral contracting, civil construction, industrial assembly, maintenance and pumping activities previously developed by Nova Engevix Engenharia e Projetos S.A..
Despite its short time of operation, the company has been already involved in the construction of large projects in the areas of power, infrastructure and industry, such as the electromechanical assembly of Belo Monte hydroelectric plant, construction of small hydroelectric plants, Natal and Brasilia airports, among others.
Enercasa was established to build Decasa Thermoelectric Plant, as well as to operate and commercialize the power produced by it.
The Thermoelectric Plant is located in Ibirarema, in the state of São Paulo, and has an installed capacity of 33MW. The combustible material is sugarcane bagasse.
The implementation works began in 2009 and the plant was already able to operate in 2011.
São Roque Energética was created to build, operate and commercialize the power produced by São Roque Hydroelectric PowerPlant.
São Roque Hydroelectric Power Plant is being implemented at the Canoas river, between the municipalities of Vargem and São José do Cerrito – approximately 320 km from Florianópolis, capital of the state of Santa Catarina. With installed capacity of 141.9MW, São Roque Hydroelectric Plant will be responsible for increasing the region’s growth and development.
